Wisamar, the partner in Leipzig, Germany, has talked to many migration experts, self-employed people and migrated women as part of the project, especially for the social report that the partnership released in January of this year in multiple languages. We were very pleased that there was so much interest in the report when it came to the collection of data, but also in reading it. This shows that the topic of self-employment of people who migrated, especially of migrated women, is a rather neglected topic in Germany.
We were particularly impressed by the experiences, the imagination and the resilience of the women who gave us their time. We are very happy that there is so much interest in our project and we are looking forward to the upcoming period in which we will prepare and conduct the training for trainers in June in Patras, Greece!
